North Coast of Spain

This is a famous landmark in A Coruna, the Torre de Hercules. It doubles as a lighthouse and was on the headland of the Bay of Biscay. The Tower of Hercules is known to have existed by the 1st or 2nd century and the design is said to be Phoenician. The tower is the oldest known still-functioning Roman lighthouse in the world.
